What does responsible management mean in 2025? This question was at the center of the 13th Bavarian CSR Day “Between Values and Reality”, to which the Bavarian Chambers of Industry and Commerce, together with the Bavarian State Ministry for Family, Labor and Social Affairs, had invited – and which was followed by around 400 participants in attendance or digitally.
The event made it clear that the transition to a sustainable economy opens up opportunities, but also requires courage, a willingness to change and a clear stance – especially in times of geopolitical tensions and new regulations.
We at SECLOUS were also able to contribute an impulse: In our talk “Responsible Handling of Data: Information Security as an Opportunity for Germany,” we showed why data security is far more than a technical exercise.
Our core ideas:
- Technically: Making knowledge usable – through common data models, collaboration and exchange.
- Technically: Focus on secure and controlled data exchange, instead of countless new security solutions.
- Ethically: More trust, more cooperation, genuine digital sovereignty for Germany and Europe.
Our goal is to provide capabilities that enable developers to make security the standard without additional effort. We are turning data protection around: Everything outside of an application is protected by default.
Whether in military applications or in medium-sized businesses – we create secure data spaces and promote knowledge networks. Because responsible management in 2025 also means: Using, protecting and sharing data responsibly.
