CODE Innovation Award 2022: SECLOUS recognized for contribution to NATO infrastructure
On July 13, 2022, SECLOUS was awarded 3rd place in the CODE Innovation Award – the innovation prize of the Research Institute CODE (Cyber Defence) at the Bundeswehr University Munich.
Our innovative solution addresses a central milestone in NATO’s Federated Mission Networking (FMN) program, which aims to improve information exchange and interoperability between NATO and partner nations during military operations.
Our contribution to the FMN program
A solution was required for NATO’s Federated Mission Networking (FMN): an optimization for information exchange and interoperability between NATO and partner nations during military operations.
With our Non-Visible-Data (NVD) technology, we enable exactly that: data is directly protected and cryptographically secured – it remains under control even when transmitted through insecure components and during shared use.
This success not only underscores the importance of innovative security solutions for the digital transformation of military and multinational networks but also highlights our role as a pioneer for these novel data architectures.
With the CODE Innovation Award 2022, SECLOUS is honored for its forward-looking contribution to a secure, interoperable IT infrastructure within the framework of the NATO FMN program – an important step for digital resilience and cooperation within the alliance.
